We have finally received a SMS for HDB regarding our key collection. Before this notification, we were told that our HLE has been approved.

We checked out our new space right after key collection. Here's a few things you'll need to know on your key collection day:
1. You don't have to bring anything.
2. You need to purchase the fire insurance from FWD if you are taking HDB loan. Purchase this before the key collection day,
3. Decide how much you and your spouse are going to pay for the house using your CPF or cash. You can only keep up to 20k each in your CPF OA if you going for HDB loan.
4. Be prepared to sign many documents and ask questions when in doubt. There's also an additional payment for the Home Protection Scheme which can be paid using your CPF on an annual basis.
