How Staging Helped Speed Up a Home's Selling Process | Chit Chat Session Ep 47

In today’s Chit Chat Session, we had the pleasure of sitting down with our clients, Mr and Mrs Tsang, who recently entrusted PropertyLimBrothers with the sale of their 3-storey landed home at Simon Walk. As avid followers of our Home Tours, the couple felt confident that partnering with PLB was one of their best real estate decisions. During the session, they shared their property progression journey and how PLB’s strategic approach made the sale process smooth and stress-free.

PropertyLimBrothers Co-Founder and CEO Melvin Lim, along with Associate Senior Investment Consultant Eunice, broke down the strategies used in marketing the Tsangs' home. Although the home was already fully furnished, PLB wanted to showcase its true flexibility, as the current theme was set by the selection of antique furniture and artefacts.

While these unique pieces reflected the Tsangs’ personal style, our staging aimed to present the home’s full potential to a wide range of buyers. The cherry on top was highlighting the property’s exceptional location—within walking distance to Kovan MRT—and its freehold status. This balance between maintaining the home’s character and allowing prospective buyers to imagine the space as their own was key to the successful sale. These efforts were captured in the Home Tour video, which attracted significant attention, resulting in 30 viewings and a successful sale within just two months!

Mr and Mrs Tsang emphasised the importance of communication, trust, and the flexibility that PLB provided. We believe this partnership goes both ways, and PLB is incredibly grateful to have clients like the Tsangs. Let’s also take a moment to appreciate their cherished antique furniture!
