Wanting to bring the best memories of their honeymoon at Bali to life, homeowner Cheryl and her husband brought the ‘getaway’ back home in their 4-room BTO!

“We loved the calm, cosy, effortless charm of tropical resort villas in Bali, so we wanted our home to reflect the same laid-back vibe.” she says.

Rustic, straw and rattan elements pair with practical wood-effect laminates to give this ‘resort’ style a local, practical twist. Functional features abound too, to make full use of their home’s limited square footage. For instance, the bomb shelter - which is concealed AND conceals a ‘hidden’ shoe cabinet. As well as their arched niche and storage cabinet by the living room, which masks a recessed wall but now also serves as their son’s play area.
