Hitting the BTO lottery on their first try, Sherlly and Yong Ser spared no expense on time OR budget to turn their 4-room flat into the first home they’d always envisioned.
From day one, the couple knew they wanted a space that was modern yet highly practical. They carefully planned every detail — flow, layout, style consistency, budget, even down to the exact materials used.
“It was important for us to design a home that not only looks good, but truly enhances our daily living,” Yong Ser explains. “With BTOs getting more compact, we had to make sure everything we wanted could fit in seamlessly without making the space feel cramped.”
So where did they choose to invest? They splashed out on imported Italian floor and wall tiles for extra durability. They also went all-in with Italian sintered stone for their kitchen backsplash, countertop and massive island that doubles as their dining table and occasional WFH spot.
The result? A thoughtfully designed home that’s equal parts beautiful and functional.
