In this episode of One’s Abode, we check out a bungalow in the Holland district that’s just dripping with opulence. The marble surfaces throughout the house are absolutely breathtaking, especially the panels with the gold flecks in the piano hallway. Pendant lights made of glass sticks hang from a high ceiling decked in fluted wood panels, while the living room boasts a two-storey tall light feature that spans the ceiling in an organic origami shape. Biophilic design elements continue throughout the home, with plants along the stairway column to soften the modern elements. This exquisite space also sees a luxurious home cinema and a grand master bathroom designed with his-and-hers sinks. While the communal areas showcase a contemporary style, the private quarters exude an oriental, chinoiserie ambience with custom doors and furnishings in keeping with the traditional theme. Join us as we take a tour of this home that’s fit for a king.
