In this episode, Alex Lee takes you inside Villa Urbano by HYLA Architects, an 8,000 sq ft tropical modern home that rethinks the traditional Singapore landed house. By moving the main living spaces upstairs, the home opens itself to the sky, greenery and swimming pool while maintaining privacy from its neighbours.

Explore the double-volume living room, central courtyard, tropical landscaping, indoor-outdoor living spaces and resort-like master bedroom, alongside a restrained palette of board-form concrete, Burmese teak and silver travertine.
