Architect, artist and collector Daniel Dorall has transformed his 50sqm/538sqft Melbourne apartment into a meticulously organised space that feels open despite his extensive collection of art and books. Over a decade of living in his home, Dorall has perfected a series of ingenious space-saving hacks including a simple IKEA hook used three different ways, a hidden pull-out dish rack drawer, magnetic spice holders, and even a hidden home studio complete with a workbench and storage drawers in the extra 2.5m ceiling height he discovered above the bathroom!
