Porsche Design Tower was born from a specific philosophy: “Optimising function while uncompromisingly reducing the form to the essentials.” That’s the vision of Professor F.A. Porsche. Today, Melvin Lim and Grayce Tan from PropertyLimBrothers explore how that philosophy translates into their latest 21-storey architectural masterpiece in the heart of Thonglor, one of Bangkok’s most high-profile districts.
The engineering beneath the surface is impressive—and that’s an understatement. The building features “The Loop”—a spiral ramp designed specifically for low-ground-clearance supercars, leading to a “Passion Space” that isn’t merely a garage, but a customisable personal museum for 8 to 18 cars.
The pièce de résistance is the “Kinetic Move”. Inspired by Porsche’s Targa roof mechanism, this 8m-wide system transforms the indoor space into an outdoor terrace , bridging the gap between a high-rise and a landed villa.
Sounds unique? Take a look at how it all comes together.
