Inside Singapore’s First Fully 3D-Printed Family Home

Video description from @stackedhomes

In this week's episode, we visit Singapore's first fully 3D-printed multi-storey home, where innovation is guided not by technology, but by the everyday needs of family life. Built on the site where the homeowners have lived for more than 25 years, the project carries forward the memories of the previous house while exploring how new methods of construction can create spaces that feel warm, comfortable and timeless. Rather than forcing the home to fit the constraints of 3D printing, the technology was shaped around the way the family lives.

At the heart of the home is an oculus that brings daylight and natural ventilation deep into the interior, becoming both a functional centrepiece and a place where the changing qualities of light shape everyday life. More than demonstrating what 3D printing can achieve, the house reflects a belief that innovation should create homes that feel, in the homeowner's own words, "warm, comfortable, and most importantly, deeply human."
