In this special compilation, we revisit eight of our favourite Amsterdam homes under 60sqm//646sqft. Explore a serene attic conversion for a young family, designed around light and restraint, where a mezzanine bedroom and low-slung furniture preserve a sense of openness. Step inside a DIY waterfront loft filled with playful, movable furniture and ever-evolving ideas, and a calm, hotel-inspired apartment where comfort and materiality take priority over size. There’s even a Cabin (just outside Amsterdam) in the mix for nature lovers, with two manual sliding exterior walls that physically open the home to nature and clever flexible interior details that include a bed and bathtub that disappear into the floor, storage that folds away, and a mezzanine that adds sleeping space.
