This Sengkang Flat Has a Glass-Framed Music Room Right in the Middle

Video description from @renonation-sg

In this episode of One's Abode, we visit a Sengkang apartment, where the homeowners' preference for a darker aesthetic led to a sleek black-and-white base. But it's far from flat, as patterned tiles and wood accents add texture and personality throughout the space.

One of the coolest features sits right in the heart of the home: a music room encased in black-framed glass panels. It offers just enough sound insulation without feeling closed off, so the person playing music inside still feels connected to the rest of the household.

The living room's got a fun upgrade too. The original balcony space now works as a cosy home bar, complete with wine fridge and bar seating for two. And while the bedroom leans into a lighter palette, the en-suite bathroom brings back a deeper mood with navy blue tiles, a softer alternative to black that still keeps with the overall vibe. Join us as we tour the space.
